Too many flooring surfaces can section-off the space at every transition. One way to get a cohesive flow is adding hardwood flooring. If you’d like to go with an engineered material or even a synthetic, prep-work is still paramount. Making sure the sub-floor is attached to the joists (prevent squeaking and bouncing) and making sure it’s flat and even, are among the checklist items.
Edge to Edge Renovations is fully educated and experienced in flooring. We have specialists in wood, tile, engineered, vinyl... even concrete.
Flooring, in general, is invariably disruptive to customers' lives, so doing it quickly is only part of the task. We're capable and have experienced developing temporary plans during the construction period. For example, when we do a kitchen remodel, we like to set up a kitchenette in a neighboring room so that the customer can still operate outside of the contained construction area. We'll even contract movers for you when it's time to redo the hardwood floors.
